The Baby Is Coming! The Baby Is Coming!
Got a tot...or perhaps know someone who has a wee one? Well, besides all the clothing, diapers and the latest gadgets and gewgaws that are needed, there's the ever-important crib and furnishings. Naturally, they have to match and be the cutest stuff available.
However, factoring the necessity of eco-friendliness into baby furniture often turns what should be a fun purchase into a dreary one—being green and fashionable used to mean no style or color.
Ah, but not anymore. Have I got a baby bed for you—the Ray Crib by Muu not only has hip minimalist design, it’s built with locally sourced sustainable wood and manufactured in the U.S. What’s really cool is there is a choice of different fun panels that can be used on the crib and a companion storage unit.
The Ray furniture line came about after Muu’s founder, Robert Kwak, became concerned with safety and quality when he was researching cribs before the birth of his daughter. A woodworker himself, Kwak takes sustainability seriously. By manufacturing in the U.S., he and his company “support the local economy, reduce our environmental impact and are able to deliver a high-quality product with enduring value to our customers.”
This furniture inspires peacefulness and is clearly thoughtfully designed. I imagine any baby would grow up to be a Zen master after sleeping in one of these cribs.
You can check out Muu baby furniture in person at Giggle in Pasadena, Juvenile Shop in Sherman Oaks and Petit Trésor on Robertson. You’ll be the envy of the neighborhood.
